INFORMATION

WHAT?

Forsker Grand Prix is a competition where ten PhD students from Bergen are competing in front of an audience and a panel of judges, to become the best presenter of their research. In the first round, the students will have four minutes to present their research and its up to the audience and the judges to decide which top three will proceed to the second round. Here they will have another four minutes to captivate the audience and the judges. The winner and the runner-up will proceed to the national final.

WHY?

Participating in Forsker Grand Prix will give the PhD students a unique opportunity to develop their presenting skills. During four sessions, the students will be working closely with a team of communication experts and an actor, who will provide them with techniques and advice on how to become a better presenter. They will also be given advice on how to approach the media.

WHEN?

The deadline for applications is 30th of April.

Remember that there are many people out there that is, would and could be interested in your research! Don’t believe that your area of research might be too narrow or that it doesn’t fit into Forsker Grand Prix. The audience is curious to know what you are doing your research on and why you are doing it!
